Q. What is Scrip?
A. Scrip is a vendor gift card that your group will
purchase at a reduced price and then turn and sell them for face value to your
group members. The profit that is made from the card is money earned for your
organization.
Q. Why choose Scrip?
A. Scrip is the only fundraiser that a group can run and raise
money every day of the year. It is spending your group members are all ready
doing. It is free money.
Q. How much money can my group make?
A. Organizing your group members spending is
vital to a successful Scrip program. For example a group with 150 participants
who purchase $100 in Groceries and $50 in Gas weekly; with an average of 5%
Scrip profit, totals $1,125 weekly and $58,500 annually.
Q. Why subscribe to ScripCoordinator?
A. ScripCoordinator offers a web based application that
allows multiple users to assist with data entry. You can access your group’s
information from any computer with internet capability. With ScripCoordiantor
you will have the confidence your information is password protected. A
majority of the Scrip Brokers have an annual minimum purchase to use their
software. ScripCoordinator is not a broker, so any minimum purchase
requirement is eliminated.
Q. Why shop around for your Scrip Inventory?
A. We are not a
Scrip Broker so this allows you to shop for the most profitable Scrip. For
example if you purchase Scrip only from a Broker you may only average 6%
profit. If a group shops around for Scrip directly from the stores, there will
be an average increase. Groups may see an increase upwards of 10%.
